Winefred Lake Outfitters is a rustic getaway in northeastern Lac La Biche County, on the shores of beautiful Winefred Lake, down the road from a working trapline, and on the doorstep of the boreal forest wilderness. Winefred Lake Outfitters is accessible by an all-weather road, and features a boat launch for guests to use.

About us

This rustic retreat is run by Paul Padlesky, whom many locals know as Trapper Paul, and his wife Sheri. Winefred Lake Outfitters is a monument to their love of nature and the great outdoors.



● Travel north from Lac La Biche on Highway 881 for 124 km. Turn right onto CNRL Jackfish Lodge access road.
● Continue on this road for 13.5 km. Turn right at the stop sign.
● Continue on this road for 20 km. Turn left onto Sterner Road (sign for Winefred Lake Outfitters).
● Continue on Sterner Road for 11 km. Access road for Winefred Lake Outfitters will be on your left.
